The Ontario Section’s Ignition 2016 event took place a few weeks ago. The hands on training and networking event was a great success, bringing together over 150 people: members, exhibitors, volunteers and a few new faces.

The Saturday sessions filled up fast. Hugo Larin’s session on Networking was quite popular and remained a topic of discussion throughout the weekend. The Trade Show, set up on the Ryerson Theatre stage, looked fantastic and received a lot of compliments.

Sunday was a bit of a quieter day but the DOT2 sessions by A.C.T. Lighting were a real hit, as well as the Freelance 101 session. Many employers were at the job fair and they saw a lot of potential in the attendees.

Overall, the weekend was a wonderful occasion for everyone to gather together in the theatre during what is generally a slow time of year. Browse through the event photo gallery to check out what you missed or to try and spot yourself in the pictures.
