We are excited to announce a new and exciting mentoring opportunity for the live performance production and technology professionals across Canada!
The Group Mentorship Pilot Program is a collaboration between the CITT/ICTS Mentoring Network and the Professional Development and Mentorship Project (PDM Project)*.
Are you looking to make a career shift to a new role in your professional discipline or hoping to make a significant transition to a brand new career inside or outside the live performance production and technology sectors? Maybe you are embarking on some career exploration for which you need guidance and insight? If so, we invite you to submit your application as a mentee for this pilot program now!
This one-month mentoring experience is open to all emerging, mid-carreer or mature Canadian professionals of any age working in the live performance production and technology fields and looking to make a shift in their careers. Even better? It’s free!
What:
- The cohort will have access to 3 seasoned professionals with varied experience and expertise in the live performance production and technology fields — learn about our Mentors here!;
- This group mentor/mentee experience will be a combination of collective learning and guidancewith opportunities for more individual attention;
- This is a free pilot program for the live performance production and technology professionals in Canada;
- The cohort will consist of 4 online sessions, 1 per week, lasting 1 hour each, mainly in the evening (EDT);
- Mentees must commit to attending all four 1-hour sessions.
How:
- Admission is by application only. Application deadline is Tuesday September 7th at 5 pm (EDT).
When:
- The meetings will start in the week of September 20, 2021 and end in the week of October 11, 2021.
* The PDM Project is a pilot program created in partnership between The AFC, AFBS, and the Dancer Transition Resource Centre, with support from the Canada Council for the Arts.
