EESCO to EESA
In an effort to better serve the Canadian Entertainment Industry and reflect its national presence, EESCO has changed its name to The Entertainment Electrical Safety Association (EESA). If you are an entertainment industry stakeholder such as the local Electrical Inspection Authority or any industry professional, we value your input regarding published installation practices, codes and standards.
EESA’s objective is to update the entertainment industry professionals to new electrical codes, technical bulletins, product announcements and standards that affect our industry and provide a safer work environment.
EESA membership is open to stakeholders of the entertainment industry governed by the Canadian Electrical Code in the following areas:
- Film, television, remote broadcasting and recording locations
- Amusement parks, midways, carnivals and fairs
- Live performance and entertainment events, touring shows, sporting events, trade shows and similar events
And to:
- Manufacturers, suppliers, and Provincial Electrical Inspection Authorities
If you supply products or services into these industries, EESA membership allows opportunities to participate and contribute through publications, regular meetings, advertising and webex/webinars.
