CITT/ICTS is thrilled to announce that it is now accepting proposals for educational sessions, workshops, roundtables, and panel discussions for the 35th Annual Rendez-vous Conference.

This year’s conference is set to take place from August 12th to 16th, 2025, in beautiful Halifax, Nova Scotia at the Dalhousie Arts Centre and Fountain School of Performing Arts.

CITT/ICTS is calling on experts, innovators, and thought leaders from across the live entertainment industry to submit proposals for engaging and impactful sessions that will inspire, educate, and challenge attendees. The conference committee is seeking a diverse range of topics that reflect the cutting-edge trends and emerging technologies within production for live entertainment. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to:

• Technical & Production Management
• Stage Management & Stage Technology
• Lighting, Sound, Video, and Rigging
• Stage Carpentry, Props, Wardrobe & Design
• Health & Safety, Architecture, EDI (Equity, Diversity & Inclusion)

The committee strongly encourages presentations that highlight Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion initiatives, especially those promoting diversity within IBPoC-identifying professionals. The Rendez-vous Annual Conference is CITT/ICTS’ yearly event that brings together emerging talent and seasoned professionals for four days of professional development, networking, and collaboration. With a focus on hands-on learning and knowledge-sharing, the conference creates a vibrant space for industry experts to connect, exchange ideas, and shape the future of the live entertainment industry
