Job Description / Duties
The Sales Manager will be responsible for: developing & maintaining a healthy sales pipeline along with managing all aspects of the account planning and growth strategy. Working in conjunction with all areas of the organization, the Sales Manager will follow and execute the established sales process with a focus on retention and growth of an existing book of business.
Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Sales Manager will spend time in the office/warehouse, tele-commuting, and at events. This position comprises an average 40-hour workweek with the expectation that flexible hours and overtime will occur.
Key Duties
Sales & Account Management
• Practice active account management, facilitating the retention and growth of existing core business
• Active engagement with assigned Production Managers to generate a successful solution (quote) for the client in line with their budget
• Prepare sales presentations, proposals/quotes in a timely manner
• Work with Director of Sales to build account plans for key and strategic accounts
• Plan and execute Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) with key and strategic accounts
• Regularly scheduled touch calls with all active contacts
• Log all sales activites (Discovery calls, Re-solicitation calls, Proposal review calls, Meetings & Tasks) in Salesforce
• Build and maintain strong client relationships producing a feeling of “family”
• Participate in developing individual annual sales growth targets and develop plans to achieve target
• Run post event RECON meetings to identify our clients’ goals and develop clear next steps
• Responsible for all financial aspects of events including uncovering client budget, profit margin, on-site additions and post event financial reconciliation
• Ensure all steps of the sales process are completed for all transactions
Business Development
• Develop and maintain an ongoing list of accounts and contacts for growth activities and log them in Salesforce
• Embody the Bespoke Audio Visual brand by upholding and accurately representing corporate values in all business interactions
• Actively engage with clients and the live events industry at conferences/tradeshows and social events
• Collaborate with Director of Sales to identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts
• Build and maintain an active referral network
Professional Development
• Participate in ongoing sales training and skills reinforcement
• Regularly engage with other personal, professional and live event production skill development opportunities (eg: CAD courses, reading event production publications, podcasts, online courses)
Qualifications / Required Skills
Job Requirements
• 3+ years experience in a sales/account management role
• Experience with curating and developing accounts
• Possess Superior: organizational skills, time management skills, active listening skills
• Technical needs: Salesforce, Microsoft Suite, Outlook, Zoom
• Intellievent – is considered an asset
• Production Management experience – is considered an asset
• Sandler Sales Training – is considered an asset
• Strong command of the english language written and verbal
• Bilingual – is considered an asset
Additional Terms
Reports To: Director of Sales
Other duties as necessary may be required and are expected from the position within reason. All percentages of Key Duties subject to alteration as necessary.

Compensation
On target earnings (OTE) $110,000 comprised of:
• Base Salary
