Job Description / Duties

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Prepping spaces and managing holding areas for artists working on The Fiancée, A Christmas Carols, and other ancillary events in coordination with Stage Management and Production.
● Supporting Citadel Theatre’s Rapid Testing Program and the COVID-19 Safety Protocols for each production (frequent high-touch areas and cleaning, restocking hand sanitizer, cleaners, PPE, and other materials that are specific to each productions’ protocols).
● Other tasks as needed, in consultation.

Qualifications / Required Skills

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Available to work flexible hours (including early mornings, evenings and weekends).
• Experience in theatre rehearsal protocols and backstage environments.
• Fast learner with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to lead others and proactively solve problems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Vulnerable Sector Check required.

The Production Assistants will work in coordination with Citadel’s Producer, COVID-19 Health Captain, Stage Management, and the Director on each project, as well as production staff, Company Manager and Youth Supervisor.

Additional Information

This is a part time paid position and the hourly wage is $18.00. The number and length of shifts vary based upon our production schedules for The Fiancée and A Christmas Carol. Priority will be given to those with the best availability within the production schedules listed below. These position start immediately and runs through the end of the December.

MACLAB THEATRE
*workdays are Tuesday – Sundays, with shifts between 4-10 hours in length (with averaging agreement in place)

November 5 – 21, 2021: Rehearsals (full days - mornings, afternoons)
November 23 – December 2, 2021: Technical Rehearsals (afternoons, evenings)
December 3 - 23, 2021: Performances (mornings, afternoons, evenings)

Special Event
