Job Description / Duties

The Assistant Technical Services Manager’s duties include:
• Work directly with clients and artists to ascertain and meet their needs for technical services
• Act as the lead on site manager/supervisor for performances, rehearsal, and other activities 
• Manage/Supervise the work of technical crews for each assigned event 
• Attend management meetings and participate in management team efforts such as organizational planning, improvement and monitoring 
• Other duties as may be prescribed by the Technical Services Manager 

Qualifications / Required Skills

The successful candidate will have a proven ability to supervise a diverse compliment of full-time and casual employees in a unionized (IATSE) working environment. They will have a good working knowledge of various areas of technical services and theatrical production equipment and operations.
The ideal candidate:
• Demonstrates strong supervisory, organizational, problem-solving and interpersonal skills;
• Works well under pressure, is able to work in a flexible schedule (including evenings and weekends);
• Has a personal passion for the performing arts.

Additional Information

In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, we offer a competitive salary based on experience and training.

Salary: starting salary range for this position is $1,500 to $2100 bi-weekly.
