Rendez-vous 2020 becomes virtual
It is with sadness that the Board of Directors of CITT/ICTS acknowledges that CITT/ICTS Rendez-vous 2020 Annual Conference and Trade Show will not be taking place, physically speaking, in London Ontario this August. This decision was made after carefully considering the safety of our members and takes into account the ongoing recommendations of the Canadian Chief Medical Officer of Health, which, we expect, will among other things, limit our capacity to gather in groups of our size due to COVID-19.
The conference committee of CITT/ICTS is however reviewing options for a virtual Rendez-vous with professional development sessions, roundtables discussions, product showcases, socials, and even swag bingo. The annual general meeting will take place online on Wednesday August 19. More information about the virtual AGM and Rendez-vous will be forthcoming.
In the meantime, we would like to invite our members to a virtual 'check in and social' which will take place via Zoom in the coming weeks. This gathering, hosted by board directors Emma Alderman and John Raymond, will allow CITT/ICTS to connect with its members and fellow colleagues in the industry and ask 'How are you?' and 'What kind of help would you like to have from us?'. We will send out the invitation soon.
We hope that you are all well, and that you are all 'okay'. We look forward to the time when we can once again gather in person. Until then we will look for opportunities and ways to connect us online.
