What's New > CITT/ICTS | In-House Assistantship project
The CITT/ICTS board of directors is pleased to announced that the organization has received a $190 000 grant from the Canada Performing Arts Worker Resilience Fund (CPAWRF) for an In-House Assistantship project.
This project will allow CITT/ICTS to facilitate in-house assistantships for professional workers interested in pursuing careers as technical directors, production managers, or any other field in technical and production. These embedded assistantships will take place within venues and production companies across Canada. Interested workers will shadow a more senior professional within a workplace to acquire new skills and experience within their field of work, or to explore a new field. The host venue or company would welcome a new worker within their organization for the duration of a season or a production.
Details about this project and how to become involved will be available in September 2022. Stay tuned!
