Location: 4700 Keele Street, Toronto
THIS IS A CONTRACT PART-TIME POSITION TO JUNE 2023.
This position provides technical services in support of the academic mission of the School of Arts, Media, Performance & Design's Departments of Dance, Music, Theatre and occasionally the Departments of Design, Film and Visual Arts and Digital Media program. In addition, the position will provide technical services to internal (other University departments) and external clients. Technical services revolve around the performance facilities including five main venues and ancillary spaces.
Qualifications / Required Skills
To be considered for this opportunity, you will bring the following:
• Three years Post Secondary Education in Music, Dance, Theatre or Video production or equivalent.
• Familiar with Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures.
• Familiar with theatrical stage equipment and tools.
• Ability to read stage and lighting diagrams and interpret them.
• Ability to operate theatrical consoles including but not limited to sound, lighting and video.
