Job Description / Duties
As the Theatre Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of the Community Theatre’s operation. The Theatre Manager will create and maintain good relationships with the local and touring arts communities and position the Kelowna Community Theatre as a professional venue which provides a high standard of service and is financially viable in a competitive environment.
Qualifications / Required Skills
Qualifications include post-secondary education in Theatre Management or other related disciplines as well as 5 or more years of experience in performance venue management. You have exceptional leadership, communications and organizational skills to manage and motivate a team of staff and you understand the benefits of building effective relationships. You can manage budgets and you have experience with the preparation of formal reports and grant applications.
