Job Description / Duties
The ideal candidate should have:
• An extensive background with the support side of the performing arts.
• A minimum of five years’ full time experience in the performing arts industry, ideally with a significant background in performance support, production support, technical crewing, theatre administration, and/or front of house management.
• Excellent organization, time management and communication skills, and the tact and diplomacy required to deal in a positive and helpful manner with user groups and other staff.
• The ability to anticipate needs, maintain records, and to respond calmly and effectively to emergency/crisis situations is essential.
Qualifications / Required Skills
A valid driver’s license, Level one first aid, CPR, WHMIS, Food Safe, and Serving It Right will be required.
Additional Information
A full time position, candidates must be available to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends as required to meet the demands of Centre events.
Salary: This is a salaried position with an annual compensation of $42,000.00 plus extended benefits.
