Manager, Performance Facilities

Reporting to the Executive Officer, the Manager Performance Facilities is responsible for providing progressive management and functional leadership, strategic direction and implementing and maintaining operational best practices to ensure the provision of effective services to clients with a view to achieving the goals of both the unit and the School. The Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating business plans, financial and operational procedures, and encouraging a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement within resource constraints. In addition, the Manager is responsible, for business development and generating revenue through the rental of performance facilities by promoting AMPD's performance venues, actively seeking out partnerships within the York Community, the wider geographic community in surrounding regions and municipalities, and other performance and media arts organizations.

Qualifications / Required Skills

To be considered for this opportunity, you will bring the following:
• University degree with a concentration in a relevant related discipline such as Arts, Theatre, Business Administration or equivalent education and experience.
• Five (5) years progressive related experience managing large, professional performing arts facilities preferably in an educational setting.
• Some experience/background in business development, marketing, sales, and revenue generation would be an asset.

Salary: Hiring Salary Range as of May 1, 2023: $94,483 - $102,571 (FTE annual)
