Job Description / Duties
Have you ever wanted to be a part of the production process for the Stratford Festival? If so, we are currently looking to expand our call list of Light Walkers with people from diverse backgrounds.
Responsibilities:
•Walking and/or standing on stage during lighting cue sessions while the Lighting Designer builds lighting looks for each production. You will need to become familiar with the following theatrical terms: Stage Left, Stage Right, Upstage, Downstage, On Stage, and Off Stage.
•Wearing shades of clothing as specifically requested in advance by the Stage Management Office on behalf of the Lighting Designer
•Wearing comfortable, closed-toed, indoor shoes that will not scuff the stage
Qualifications / Required Skills
Qualifications:
•Lives in Stratford or the surrounding area; or can commute from a longer distance
•Ability to stand for extended periods of time
•Attentive listener and follows instructions
Additional Information
This part-time casual seasonal position is located in Stratford, Ontario and successful candidates will be called as needed between late March and early August.
Hourly Rate: $15.00
