Job Description / Duties

4th Line Theatre, an outdoor theatre company located in Millbrook, ON is currently looking for a COVID-19 Health & Safety Officer for the 2022 summer season.

Start date: May 23, 2022
End date: September 2, 2022 (15 weeks)
Remuneration: $630/week, averaging agreement with guaranteed minimum wage of $17/hour

Responsibilities of this position will include, but are not limited to:
• Acting as the point person for all COVID-19 related health and safety practices, policies, procedures and activities at the Winslow farm summer theatre venue for the organization’s employees, contractors, volunteers and patrons
• Ensure organizational daily procedures and communications are up-to-date by a daily review of Ministry of Health guidance, provincial and local public health and workplace safety requirements for COVID-19; ensure the successful implementation of all COVID-19 related health and safety practices in all areas of operations
• Discuss health and safety protocols, updates, questions and concerns at regular staff and production meetings
• Oversee the implementation of rapid testing procedures for staff/crew members
• Oversee the implementation of proof-of-vaccination processing for patrons at all summer events

Qualifications / Required Skills

• The ideal candidate possesses excellent interpersonal skills, creative problem solving skills and the ability to anticipate the needs of multiple constituents
• The ideal candidate possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills and has extensive experience in the areas of customer service excellence
• The ideal candidate has advanced computer skills in MS WORD, EXCEL and OUTLOOK
• A valid Ontario drivers’ license is a requirement
• A car is a requirement
• Must enjoy working outdoors
• Ideal for a returning student in Arts/Business Administration or Health Care programs

Additional Information

>4th Line Theatre can arrange temporary housing options for the length of the contract for out-of-town applicants.

>All staff, artists, contractors and volunteers must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, for not less than two weeks prior to attending anywhere 4th Line activities might occur.

Salary: $630/week, averaging agreement with guaranteed minimum wage of $17/hour
