Description
The Audio Engineer is responsible for making the best quality sounding show in each unique venue. Creating balanced sound within the design and cues provided as well as the 4 performers speaking and singing vocals. You are expected to load in, sound check, work the show (including sound cues) and load out for each venue. Making sure the equipment is properly taking care of, packed and handled with care.

Duties
- Load in, set up, adjust show cues, around check, run show and load out in each venue
- Work a digital audio board to create quality production sound
- Advise on audio needs and efficiencies
- Work with in house crew to create ideal sound
- Problem solve any issues in each venue
- Look ahead to future venues and flag any potential problems
- Maintain equipment and tools to avoid damages

Qualifications / Required Skills

- Professional audio experience for theatre and music theatre works 
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively 
- Someone who is organized, hardworking
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Understanding of driving a trailer is an asset
- Valid G license is an asset
- Uphold respectful and professional mannerism with co-workers and local crew

Additional Information

Start and End Date: May-June 2023 with potential Fall 2023 tour
Schedule: To Be Discussed in Interview Process
