Job Description / Duties
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
-Create and maintain crew and production schedules.
-Create technical drawings for the production team as assigned by the Technical Director.
-Estimate production element costs and labour requirements as assigned by the Technical Director.
-Procure materials for production team.
-Determine and coordinate technical requirements for rental events in cooperation with the Rentals Department.
-Schedule and supervise production department labour as assigned by the Technical Director.
Qualifications / Required Skills
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Post Secondary Technical Theatre Education is an asset.
Experience: 5 years working in professional theatre production departments.
Skills:
-Proficient with MS365 Office suite and other common office applications.
-Ability to create, maintain, and interpret CAD files.
-Familiar with all aspects of stagecraft. Proficient in at least one, preferably lighting, sound, or projections.
-Excellent written and oral communication skills suitable for corresponding with external clients.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
-Experience working in an IATSE environment.
-Fall Protection Training
-Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWP) / Arial work platform training.
