Job Description / Duties
Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan is looking for designer submissions for the 2023 season and beyond. Currently, we are seeking designers for both Romeo & Juliet directed by Kayvon Khoshkam, and As You Like It directed by Jamie King. Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan is looking to build relationships with existing and emerging designers within our community.
Design includes:
Set Design
Costume Design
Lighting Design
Sound Design/Composition
Prop Making
Qualifications / Required Skills
Who is Eligible
Individuals who reside in Saskatchewan are invited to submit. Out of province individuals may submit as well, knowing that we are trying to find locally based artists this year.
Contract Details
Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan rehearsals begin June 6th, 2023, previews begin July 4th, 2023, and closing is August 20th, 2023. All dates are subject to change. Design talks to begin early in 2023.

Please email your letter of intent and resume to kody.m@shakespearesask.com with “2023 Designer” in the subject line. If you have a portfolio with examples of your work, that is also welcome.
All submissions must be received by December 5th, 2022.

Salary: $2,935-$4,037 per production, dependent on position.
