Educational Session

ANSI standards have been established for rigging inspections and for rigging inspectors. It is possible for you to do you own inspections to the standard. This 90-minute session will inform you of the steps to do your inspections to the most recent standard.

After attending this presentation, attendees will be able to organize the inspection and the inspection report to provide the owner with the best information and display of due diligence possible. They will also be able to organize a spreadsheet in such a way that it will guide them through each of the required point of the inspection.

NOTE: This session will be recorded for online streaming via the CITT/ICTS Video Library (members-only). No attendee will be filmed.

He has developed and improved the method and is now prepared to share it for the benefit of the whole. Rick has also written the only history of the counterweight rigging system that exists. 'Nobody Looks Up:The history of the Counterweight Rigging System: 1500 to 1925" remains popular in the industry around the world. Rick also spent 9 years working with one of the top stage rigging manufacturers in the USA, Thern Stage Equipment. The company engaged Rick to help them develop their system and break into the theatre marketplace. Thern remains one of the top manufacturers of rigging systems.
