Bios
Kelvin Fosberry
Kelvin Fosberry is the Human Resources Manager at Aligned Vision Group, an audiovisual systems integration company based in Markham, Ontario. Kelvin has worked in the AV industry – in both systems integration and live event – for eighteen years. Prior to this he worked in the advertising industry, first as an agency producer and then on the production side as a line producer.
Wayne Korhonen
Over his twenty-five year career, Wayne Korhonen has held prestigious positions as Senior Technician and Field Service Project Coordinator at William F. White International and CineQuip White Inc. before establishing Field Service.CA in 2001. Wayne established his technical expertise designing, commissioning and servicing various professional theatrical and architectural lighting and audio manufacturers systems, including ETC Inc. (formerly Electronic Theatre Controls), High End Systems & d&b Audiotechnik from coast-to-coast across Canada. He spends much of his valued time travelling Canada fulfilling your ever-changing requirements in the entertainment, architectural, and production industries.
Jarrett Hartwell
With more than 30 years of professional experience in every aspect of the audio visual world, Jarrett Hartwell contributes a wealth of knowledge, expertise and experience to Proshow’s Calgary operations. His focus on exceptional customer service, relationships and engagement ensures that every client’s journey from event concept through to fulfillment is delivered within budget and project parameters, to a high standard of presentation and with optimal value. Proshow events that Jarrett is particularly proud of include the three-year University of Calgary Energize Campaign and its 2019 celebration event, the bi-annual Cenovous Innovation Summit featuring key speakers focused on innovation in a broad range of categories, and the annual not-for-profit “Stars and Spurs Gala” for Stars Air Ambulances at Calgary’s BMO Centre. With respect to the latter event, Proshow has assisted organizers to dramatically grow its overall impact and donation revenue by significantly increasing audio visual creativity and production to enhance audience and donor engagement.
Michael Wood
Michael Wood has become the face and voice of small businesses across Ontario. After the government regulated shutdowns over the COVID-19 pandemic in March of 2020, Michael saw his now former event rental company’s gross revenue drop by ninety-seven percent from the previous year exceeding three million ($3,000,000.00) dollars in losses. Michael’s past clients included the National Hockey League, FIFA, Cirque Du Soleil, The Canadian Football League and many local fairs, festivals, conferences and tradeshows. Michael is currently an award-winning professor at Algonquin College where he teaches in a music media and film program as well in the School of Business. He is a former touring guitar player and was discovered by legendary radio DJ Casey Kasem. Michael is a published author and has been a voting member of the academies for the Juno Awards and the Grammy Awards. He is also the former American Idol Insider for various Fox News stations across the United States.
Jacquie Lazar
Jacquie brings over 20 years of professional experience working in the theatre and live entertainment industry. Her career path has included numerous appointments including Front of House Manager, Head Electrician, Assistant Technical Director, Technical Director, Production Manager, and Theatre Manager. Jacquie currently serves as the Chair of the Board for Shadowpath Theatre Productions, a not-for-profit theatre company based out of York Region (Ontario), whose mandate is to transform everyday spaces into creative places for suburban audiences. She is currently the Executive Director for the Canadian Institute for Theatre Technology / Institut canadien des technologies scénograhiques (CITT/ICTS).
