In-Person Training

grandMA3 Beginner | 2-Day Course

Monday April 14 + Tuesday April 15 | 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM on both days

Room 524a | 5th floor of the Palais des congrès de Montréal
Available spaces: 8
REGISTER

The grandMA3 Beginner course is designed for the new programmer or the professional programmer with little to no experience with grandMA2. This 2-day course will cover the basics of grandMA3 programming, including software navigation and hardware layout, attribute manipulation, group selection, presets, sequences and executors, phasers, and more.

If you are already well-versed in grandMA2 programming, you might consider taking a "grandMA3 for the grandMA2 User" course instead of this course, and then moving on to the grandMA3 Intermediate Course.

All registrants are strongly encouraged to complete the free grandMA3 Beginner Pretest first. If you do not score at least 85% on this test, we strongly recommend reviewing the free grandMA3 Prerequisite course before attending a grandMA3 Beginner class. The class will assume some underlying knowledge of the topics covered in the Prerequisite course, and may not have time to review all of these basics.

Note: Students will most likely be sharing a console with 1 other person.

grandMA3 for the grandMA2 User | 1-Day Course

Wednesday April 16 | 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Room 524a | 5th floor of the Palais des congrès de Montréal
Available spaces: 8
REGISTER

The "grandMA3 for the grandMA2 User" course is designed for avid grandMA2 programmers who are transitioning to grandMA3. This 1-day course will cover grandMA2 to grandMA3 differences in hardware layout, general navigation, 3D, selection, phasers, layouts, timecode, networking and more. This course is designed to help a grandMA2 programmer become familiar with these key differences.

If you are not well-versed in grandMA2 programming, we strongly recommend taking the grandMA3 Beginner course instead of this course, and then moving on to the grandMA3 Intermediate Course.

Note: Students will most likely be sharing a console with 1 other person.
