GerrAudio Distribution is hosting a Smaart v9 training session that is being taught by design and tuning expert, Ian Robertson. Ian has been involved in system design, commissioning, and measurement using dual channel FFT analyzers since the late ‘90s. He has been a certified Smaart instructor since 2016.

What to expect:

• An overview of general system measurement theory paired with operational context
• Gain a working knowledge of how Smaart v9 operates as a tool
• Practical exercises in a live class environment with feedback from instructor and discussion among peers
• An in-depth analysis of audio signals and system responses using advanced techniques
• A deep dive into the set up and fine-tuning of intricate audio systems and learning to solve issues like feedback and distortion
• Gain an understanding of integrating Smaart with other tools and how to improve system performance

This training is aimed at Sound Technicians in the Live, Installation and Acoustic markets. Upon completion, attendees should feel more confident when operating Smaart measurement software to optimize the performance of a given sound system.
