Rendez-vous_2024_-_Saskatoon/RV2024_logo-color_with_dates_2x.png

This mixing summit, led by four different audio engineers with varying backgrounds, is intended to provide professionals, students and young-in-craft technicians an opportunity to mix a series of multitracks in a safe and stress-free environment.

A short introduction and panel discussion describing various approaches, ideas, and philosophies of mixing audio led by these audio mentors will make way for a hands-on practical application of those very concepts in a wholly interactive workshop. The console and mixing demonstrations will be rather free form, and participants will be able to drop in and out and get hands-on time with various consoles. Participants will receive feedback and advice on their mixing from the audio mentors.

This would hopefully allow those newer to mixing to get a chance to mingle, network and gain some valuable experience, alongside the opportunity for more seasoned engineers to get hands on with consoles they don't normally use and share tips & tricks from industry peers.

This is a 1-Day Workshop:

Tuesday August 13, 2024 (4:00 PM - 10:00 PM)

  • 4:00 - 4:30 - Welcome and Introductions
