Intersections between art and science
About this Event
Playwright, Elinore Siminovitch and molecular biologist, Lou Siminovitch had a marriage that beautifully symbolized the bond between arts and sciences. They understood firsthand how both fields were in pursuit of the mysteries of human existence.
Join in for a conversation led by some of Canada’s top theatre-makers and scientific minds that will explore what scientists can learn from artists, what artists can learn from scientists, and how the union of the two is a key to creativity.
The Forum on Creativity will be held on Thursday April 29, 2021, starting at 7 p.m. ET
This is a free, bilingual event with English and French simultaneous translation.
Featuring:
- Jillian Keiley, Artistic Director, NAC English Theatre
- Dr. Suvendrini Lena, Neurologist and Playwright
- Yvette Nolan, Playwright, Director, Dramaturg
