Tbilisi Biennale of Stage Design

Tbilisi Biennale of Stage Design is a new platform in the Black Sea/Caucasus region creating a cultural network by means of developing stage design.

Since its inception in 2016, the Tbilisi International Biennale of Stage Design has been a beacon for young stage designers worldwide. Facilitated by the Valerian Gunia Union of Young Theatre Artists, this biennale fosters professional development while fostering cross-cultural dialogue. Through exhibitions, forums, symposiums, and educational programs like MasterLab, participants engage in robust discussions, share creative insights, and collaborate on future projects.

Key Activities:

1. International exhibition of national and students’ expositions – participants from various countries of Europe, Asia and America.
2. Open forum/symposium organized and supported by OISTAT.
3. Educational program MasterLab (lectures, masterclasses) – International Educational Online Programme is held by the prominent professionals.
